If you’re wondering how to get rid of cars in Forza Horizon 5, there are several ways to sell your car, but not all of them will bring you money if you want. Other methods require you to wait a while before asking for money, while others require you to help other players.
Remember that when you decide to sell or give away your car, it disappears from your garage and the changes and updates you make also go hand in hand with the sale of the car. So make sure that when you decide to get rid of the car, you really want to let it go.
Below is how to sell your car, it’s up to you how quickly or how you really want to do it.
Garage / Own cars screen
The Garage or My Cars screen is basically your collection screen. Here you can view your cars individually and sort them the way you want. You can also select your car from this screen if you want to drive or race it for a round.
You can also get rid of your car through this screen, although unfortunately there is only one option in Forza Horizon 5: Take the car from the garage. When you select a car, a menu will appear and this option will appear at the bottom of the menu.
Selecting this option will remove the car from your game. This won’t do you any good, it will just lose the car permanently, so be careful as you might fail doing this to a very valuable car.
The only reason I would recommend this is if you want to keep a certain rare car by reducing the number of cars available in the game world, or if you are unlucky enough to be playing completely offline with no other options to sell.

Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins
Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins are probably the main ways to get your car into Forza Horizon 5. Since these are random, the possibility of getting some Forza Horizon 5 cars over time is pretty much inevitable.
Fortunately, Forza Horizon 5 recognizes if you’ve acquired a duplicate by displaying a screen as soon as you’ve picked up your replica car. It says you already own this car and gives you two options to do with it, namely: “Add to Garage” and “Sell to X CR”.
If you want to sell your car, choose another option. This is the only way you can sell your car instantly and earn money from it, so be careful when opening multiple Wheelspins, as you may accidentally add a car to your garage, giving you no chance to earn money from it.
You’ll also want to keep hard-to-find cars in mind, as some of the cars on this screen will sell for much less than those listed on the auction house due to their perceived in-game rarity.
Auction house
An auction house is another option to sell your car for cash, although this method is a bit more complicated than simply selling it on Wheelspin or your garage.
If you want to sell your car through the auction house, make sure you don’t drive the car you want to sell. Once this is done, go to the auction house from the Buy and Sell menu and select the car you want to auction.
From here you can then set your price and auction duration. Once you’ve listed your car on the auction house, all you have to do is wait for someone to bid or buy the car at full price and the car will be taken off your hands. If the car doesn’t sell, you can claim it back and it will return to your garage.
