When it comes to makeup, it’s about application and the order in which the products are applied. There is no special makeup order, everyone has their own method. But if you don’t know where to start … this is the front door!
Cleanser & Moisturizer
First of all, you should know that makeup without makeup looks at least as good as makeup on prepared skin. That’s why you want to make sure your skin isn’t contaminated with any makeup products before going through your skincare routine. A skincare routine can include steps such as washing, cleansing, and applying a moisturizer. Preparing your skin before putting on your makeup will give you smooth skin and flawless makeup.
Primer
The function of the foundation in make-up is to fill in wrinkles and pores on the face, giving the make-up a uniform texture and finish. Many people don’t think about using foundation every day, but foundation can definitely cover skin blemishes, extend makeup life, and make a good makeup base.
There are many ways to apply foundation by hand or with a makeup brush / sponge. However, makeup experts recommend gently squeezing your fingers and then touching the skin with your fingers, starting at the area and moving to the rest of the face.
Color Correcting Concealer
Neutralize discoloration and hide redness, dark circles, dark spots and hyperpigmentation with a color correction concealer. Color correctors usually come in four different colors (green, yellow, pink, and orange), each with a different purpose. Use green for redness and acne and yellow for dark purple bruises, veins and dark circles. Pink if you have light skin but dark circles, and finally orange if you have dark skin with dark circles.
Apply a color correction concealer with your fingers and apply a small amount of concealer to the discolored areas you want to hide.
Foundation
Foundation is an essential makeup product for a makeup-free look. When shopping for foundation for yourself, make sure you choose the right color and texture for your skin type. It can be difficult and time-consuming to choose the right color, but it’s worth it for a perfect look. To find the right shade for your skin, experiment with different shades on the jaw and find a tone that opens beautifully over time without the need for blending. And if you have a hard time finding your shade, you can always mix different colors until you find the perfect shade for your skin.
The perfect foundation isn’t just the perfect shade, it’s the formula. You need a formula that suits your specific needs. If you have oily skin, look for a foundation with a matte finish. Lightweight and breathable composition. If you have dry, flaky skin, look for a moisturizing formula that will keep your skin even and glowing throughout the day.
Concealer
Are there any flaws or imperfections that the foundation cannot cover? A full coverage concealer that matches your skin tone will do the trick. The foundation is meant to cover acne and scars, for example, while the concealer is meant to treat stubborn dirt, such as dark bags and other impurities under the eyes.
Should the under-eye concealer be lighter or darker? It is best to have at least two shades of concealer that perfectly match your skin tone in order to hide blemishes and dark spots. Another tone slightly lighter than your skin tone can be used to highlight certain areas of the face.
Contour
Now that you’ve finished your foundation, add dimension and sculpt your face by shaping your cheekbones and jaw.
To create shadows, choose an outline shade one or two shades darker than your skin tone. The best garnish has a creamy texture as it spreads and glides over the skin more easily.
Outline with a brush along the chin and hairline, under the cheeks and on the sides of the nose.
